In hydroponics and aquaponics, analysis involves various aspects to monitor plant health, water quality, and overall system management. Here are some important aspects of the analysis in both systems:
1. Water quality
Monitoring water quality is crucial to ensure that nutrients are present in the right concentrations and that no harmful substances such as heavy metals or pesticide residues are present.
2. Nutrient content
Analysis of the nutrient content in the water is important to ensure that plants receive all the nutrients they need. This can be done by regular tests for pH, electrical conductivity (EC) and the concentration of macro- and micronutrients.
3. plant health
Plant health monitoring involves observing signs of nutrient deficiencies, diseases, or pest infestations. Visual inspections of plants and monitoring of growth rates and yields can provide important clues to problems.
