Facts about Pea

Cultivation
- Coconut soil
- Peat-free potting soil
- Hemp mats
- spray surface with water sprayer in the morning and evening
Nutritional values per 100g
Steps of cultivation
- Place the seeds in a bowl of clean water to soak for 6 - 24 hours, the seeds will grow twice as large as when dry
- Prepare growth medium and generously moisten the surface
- Distribute seeds evenly and avoid partial clusters
- Moisten the seeds extensively with a water sprayer
- Cover with any cover and weigh down (e.e. two baking stones), store in a dark place
- Germination occurs in 2 - 3 days
- Remove cover and transfer to aquaponics system
- The ripe microgreens can be harvested after 6 to 14 days
- Harvesting should take place in the morning or evening due to cooler temperatures
Pean-Microgreens (Pisum sativum) require specific seed preparation for optimal germination and yield. The seeds must be soaked in water for 8-12 hours or overnight before sowing, then rinsed and sown directly. The optimal sowing density is 80 ±5 seeds per 100 cm² of cultivated area, which corresponds to approximately 57 g per home professional tray (22 cm x 17 cm) or 240 g per 1122 professional tray (56 cm x 28 cm). UV treatment of seeds during germination can shorten the average harvest time by 1-2 days and increase the crop yield by 10.9-13.8%, depending on the peanvariety. The black phase (stack-and-weight) should last 5-7 days until germination is complete. After removing the cover, you will need pean-Microgreens a light intensity of 1600-2150 lux for optimal yield - The total cultivation time is 9-14 days, with harvest at a height of about 15 cm. Pean-Microgreens are characterized by a crisp, mildly sweet taste and are rich in vitamins, minerals and plant protein.
